  • Will I be sheltered from the rain in row 6 of section 308?

    Asked October 16, 2014

There is virtually no protection from the elements in the lower rows (or even the upper rows) in the 300 level at Gillette Stadium. Your seats will not be covered in the event of rain.In Section 308 specifically, the one saving grace is that you are not in an exposed corner section where it is extra-windy and the rain can blow sideways. Additionally, Row 6 is close to the concourse tunnel, making it easy to run for shelter if needed....More

"Great corner endzone view of entire field" -

    Section 217, Row 24, Seats 7-8

Had these seats from the beginning of stadium opening through the 2008 season. Great seats for a corner endzone view of entire field where you're still down low enough as opposed to being WAY up in the top section, yet are still high enough to see entire field and play from above. The seats are up towards back/top of the section which as far as a vantage point, I prefer more than the front rows of the section. And when the play is coming towards your side of the field, these are great seats.

Saw another upset fan comment about fans "neighbors" being unruly and spilling beer on them and had to buy an umbrella to keep the beer off. I call bullcrap first of all because umbrellas aren't allowed in Gillette for football games, nor are they sold there. Sounds like an out of towner who didn't get the experience they wished (kind of understandable given you root for opposing team) but it's far from what we've seen in Philadelphia. But even if they were Patriots fans, fans standing up shouting and spilling a beer happens. Especially at an event where the overwhelming majority are consuming alcohol before and during the games. No different than any football game anywhere. This isn't going to be an opera experience nor should anyone dealing in reality think so. But it also should never be a bad experience and there are plenty of options to make sure it isn't.

If anyone feels they're not getting the proper response from the security in their section, there are plenty of security supervisors and managers also around (every level of security have different color jackets so you can tell whose what) but If you felt you weren't getting the response from the first tier security that you wish, you can always find someone above to voice your concerns further. And they're all around too. And even more, if you don't feel you're getting proper help from any of the in stadium folks, there's always cops around who you can escalate things above security and windows located on the lower level cocnourse around both 50's where there's always a couple of cops around along with stadium management/security heads that you can escalate things to. Not sure if they have them in the upper level concourse. Either way you can file your gripes with them and they would handle it with follow up if necessary. The vast majority of seats in the stadium are season tix holders and each season tix holder is held accountable for their behavior as well as those who they give or sell their tix too outside of the tix exchange program. So, I have a tought time believing that review about poor neighbors, etc. didn't get the appropriate action taken IF it was escalated to the proper officials and not just the lowest level (basically ushers) of security. Plenty of options if you're that upset and again... no umbrellas allowed so that's an outright lie.

As far as fans in any section 217, the overwhelming majority are season tix holders and know or see each other at each game or the majority. They also know the rules so will there be an occasional boob, ...sure. But for the most part it's a decent crowd to see a game and again the view is terrific for a corner endzone viewpoint. Bottom line, I'd find it hard to think your experience in this section be anything other then good at the worst and that goes for both fan interaction and game viewing experience.

"About as Comfy as You Can Get" -

    Section 117, Row 34, Seat 2

Love these seats because of how well you can relax in them. You can't see the awesome videoboard to your left because it's blocked by the 200 level, but you get a pretty good view of the Patriots sideline. The other side of the field is pretty far away, though, so you might end up trying to watch replays on the far (smaller) videoboard.

This is the last row in Section 117, which means you're covered from rain and sun. There are a lot of seats in the row (something like 24), but if you're on the aisle, you're seconds away from some great concessions.

There are better options if you want to watch the game, but if you want to be comfortable and get in and out of your seats easily, these seats are great.

    "Comfortable Corner Seats" -

    Section 126, Row 38, Seat 2

Last row in the section, which is great for being under cover and close to all the awesome concessions. Felt very comfortable and relaxed from these seats, and was able to just enjoy the game. I was worried about the speakers blocking the view of the field but thankfully that wasn't the case, and although I couldn't see the videoboard nearest to me because of the 200 level above. I still had a great view of the video board on the opposite end. Rows 33 and higher are great here since you have a perfectly elevated view while still feeling close to the field....More

"Last Row in Section at 50 Yardline" -

    Section 109, Row 38

These seats are 100% covered from the elements. This is the last row in the 100 Level. The top of the scoreboards get cut off which is pretty annoying, and it's tough to see the left endzone because of the wheelchair railing in the way. Move down a row or two and it's not a problem.

The beer stand behind you is so close they can almost hand you a beer. Restrooms are also really close. Ideal seats for those who find it difficult to walk up and down a lot of stairs.

    "Not close to much" -

    Section 319, Row 7

The views of the field were very far from the last row behind the endzone. The one saving grace to being here was the easy to view videoboard at the opposite end of the field which required just a slight glance upward to view and not an obnoxious 90 degree turn. Pretty breezy up here with limited covering from mother nature, and it was also a long trek to get to and from decent concessions and restrooms from where the seats were....More

"Exciting and Close to the Field" -

    Section 133, Row 27, Seat 1

Right in line with the 25 yard line with great elevation and nice angle of the seats so I could see everything without moving around much. Both scoreboards in the endzones were clearly visible and made it easy to catch the replays on either end of the field. Made me feel very close to the field and all the players and was an exciting place to sit for a Pats game!...More

    "Excellent seats for families" -

    Section 112, Row 33

These seats were near the end of the row, which put them closer to the 25 yardline. You're pushed back pretty far from the field for being in the lower level, but the view of the field and the videoboards is still very good.

This row is right by the concourse and concessions and is 100% covered, which makes them really ideal for kids and families.

    "Great seats for family" -

    Section 104, Row 37, Seat 1

These seats are at the top of the section, which makes it easy to grab food and go to the bathroom. Families who get up and down a lot will find it good to sit here. They're also covered so no threat of sun during warm months or rain/snow.

One bad thing is that there are super-loud speakers right here which are annoying.

    Section 321, Row 1, Seats 1-4

Front Row of section with beautiful views facing lighthouse. Great for cold weather game because glass in front shields against the wind. Good amenities in the immediate area as well.
While a little far from the field, you can still see everything in full detail.
