My 4 plugs arrived and I finished setting up 3 of the 4. The 4th plug will not updated to the newest firmware. The first 3 have been updated to v1.2.0.206. It says it’s firmware is v1.2.0.53. Just bought a 2-pack of Wyze Plugs at the local Home Depot. Naturally both of them had out of date firmware and needed an upgrade. The first one upgraded with no problem and so far works fine. The second one refuses to do the firmware upgrade, and without it I can’t use scheduling which is the main reason I bought them. Do I need to drive back over to Home Depot and return them? Attempting to enable the Wyze Plug Schedule feature indicates that it needs a firmware update and automatically redirects to update. 10. Outdoor plugs, schedule works on 1 plug and not the 2nd plug
7 feb 2024 · There must be an issue with the most recent update. I had an outdoor plug and since it had been working phenomenally I purchased a second.
I know this doesn’t show anything really, but I have 2 outdoor plugs that will not respond to the schedules I’ve set. They each have 2 plugs, and each is seperately controlled. The number 1 plug works as scheduled, no problem, been working for a long time. I’ve also used the 2nd plug and had those scheduled too and they worked fine. Well, now they don’t, and I can’t figure out why. It’s 2 seperate plugs doing this too. I can schedule outlet 1 on both and it works. But when I schedule the 2nd out...
